Q) When are the Homeowners Association Board Meetings held?
A) They are held the third Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at the pool pavilion unless otherwise at the front entrances of our neighborhood or on the calendar in the homeowner portal.
Q) What day is trash day and when do I need to bring my empty trash can back in?
A) Trash day is Monday, and the trash can and your recycle bins must be removed from view by 8:00 p.m. Monday evening.
Q) Who do I contact if there is a maintenance problem with the pool or surrounding areas?
A) Please call the Management Company, their info is on the Contact Us page.
Q) What are the home and yard maintenance standards in Mentone so I don’t get a CCR Violation letter reminder and/or possible fines?
A) Please see the Friendly Reminders page.
Q) What is the procedure to follow if I need to make an architectural change to either my home, or yard?
A) Please complete the Architectural Review Request Request and follow the submission instructions on the form as well as the guidelines in the documents.
Q) What are the regulations regarding front yard ?
A) No vines, plants or trees may be growing on or touching any part of the structure of the house or outbuilding. Hedges and bushes must be kept trimmed so as not to exceed the height of the fascia as viewed from the street.
Q) What are the pool hours?
A) 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with lap swimming from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Please visit our Pool Pavillion Polices page for important info about our pool area.
Q) How do I get a new or replacement pool key-fob?
A) Contact our Property Management team on our Contact Us page.
Q) How can I get a new mail key?
A) Call the US Post Office on SW 34th Street, contact number on our Useful Websites page.
Q) Who is our cable, internet, phone and utility companies for the neighborhood?
A) They are listed on our Useful Websites page.
Q) Can I host a party at the pool pavilion, if so what do I need to do?
A) Generally yes, but there are some restrictions and guidelines. Please complete the form with the information about your event. This information will be given to the Board of Directors for their review. Functions for 3rd parties will not be allowed (i.e. a school function, a non-profit organization function, etc) as the liabilities are too great for the neighborhood, association and individual homeowners.
Q) Who do I contact about excessive noise, including barking dogs, loud music, etc when nothing else has remedied the problem?
A) First try and talk with your neighbor to reach a conclusion. If that isn’t successful contact the Alachua County Sheriff’s office at 352-367-4000
